Steen Elgaard brings more than 25 years of international commercial and leadership experience across Europe and North America, with a career spanning business development, sales, strategy, organisational development and executive leadership.

Throughout his career, he has worked across markets and cultures, building businesses, developing organisations and creating long-term commercial relationships and strategic partnerships.

As Chief Commercial Officer at Rhino Sanctuary Namibia, Steen is responsible for developing the commercial direction and building international partnerships with companies, organisations and individuals who share the ambition of creating lasting impact.

His approach is built around a clear belief: conservation cannot depend on good intentions alone. Protecting wildlife for generations to come requires strong partnerships, commercial thinking and sustainable economic models that make conservation viable for the long term.
